Who We Are
We are Justin and Kendal Adamson, and God has called our family into full-time, church-planting ministry in Queens, NY. Specifically, He has given us a heart and passion for the South Asian and South and Central American migrants that live there, to reach the nations and make disciples in Queens, NY, right here inside the United States. We share the Gospel with them though church-planting and discipleship efforts, through ESL ministry, and helping minister and advocate however we can in the immigration and migrant plight occurring right now. God specifically tells us to go reach the nations, and we feel He is making it even easier on us by literally bringing the nations to us. Many of the people that we are serving are transient and not permanent and will return home to their native countries. What a great opportunity we have to spread the Gospel, in giving it to them and then ensuring that they take it back home with them to their countries!!
We have gone through assessment and have been accepted as Church-Planters to Queens, NY, through the SEND Network, the church-planting network of the North American Mission Board. Our sending church is Aspire Church in Jacksonville, FL. We are very excited about this partnership, as they have so much knowledge, experience, expertise, and resources to offer us as they are already involved heavily in urban multi-cultural ministry, including their own ESL center, and have the same heart and vision to reach the nations here in the United States.
We are blessed with eight beautiful children, Lily, Bo, Lanie, Lucy, Sheppard, Tucker, Lyric, and Phoenix, and are excited about them being introduced to so many diverse and beautiful cultures in New York. They are all invested and excited about what God has called us to as well!
Why Queens?
“For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me.’ Then the righteous will answer him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink? And when did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you? And when did we see you sick or in prison and visit you?’ And the King will answer them, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers,[a] you did it to me.”

Why did we pick up and move our family across the country to what may as well be a foreign land? First, because God told us to, second, here’s a more in depth look at “why Queens, NY?”
Queens is both the largest borough of New York City and the second most populated. Queens is also notable for being the most ethnically diverse urban area in the entire world, representing over 100 nations and speaking 138 different languages. Two of New York City’s most important airports are located in Queens, JFK International and LaGuardia Airports. Because these are two of the busiest airports in the world, the airfield over Queens is the most congested in the world.
God has told us to go and make disciples and reach the nations. The nations are all literally in Queens, NY.
